"I love you no matter what you say or do" includes betrayal. Incredibly hard in practice until we understand that we are all souls. Glad you wrote this piece, it needed to be written.

This piece reminds me of the forgiveness being for you rather than for others.

It's like jettisoning an cargo to keep going.

There's a game called "Death Standing" which has an interesting gameplay mechanic where the character feels the weight of the items they carry.

In most games, you can carry infinite items cause that's easy to program.

But in Death Stranding, your character can carry so much. Mass, inertia, and momentum impact how well you can move.

You can't carry everything. You must let go to keep going forward.

Some pieces are great for sections of the game. But you don't need it for others.

Forgiveness is about letting go for yourself so you can move forward.

Hey man. I've made it a habit to read your stuff weekly.

Your sessions were my favorite part of WOP. You're the kind of friend everyone needs and the kind I long for. Thanks for creating phenomenal essays every week.

It sucks what happened to you, but you've taken it in stride remarkably well. Bitterness and resentment become harder to resist over time, but your posture and attitude are perfectly suited for times such as these.

Hope you find clarity, friend.
